Seawell's is a family owned and operated catering business that has been in existence in Columbia since 1946. Once a well known restaurant, we now provide catering for private events such as weddings, corporate meetings, cocktail parties and banquets of all sizes. From groups of 10 to 1,000, we not only offer our services in our own 30,000 square foot facility located at 1125 Rosewood Drive, but at off-site locations as well.

We at Seawell's have not only been a favorite of the Columbia area since its opening, but have also played host to many important visitors to our city. In early 2000, we hosted the Republican Presidential Debate which was viewed world-wide on Larry King Live on CNN. Seawell's has also had the honor of catering events that have been attended by seven of the last eight Presidents of the United States.

Seawell’s was founded in 1946 by Carroll Seawell, Sr. as a drive-in restaurant. Gradually, Seawell’s was expanded to include a few locations in the Columbia area. Eventually, we evolved into a full-time catering company and now reside in our current location on Rosewood Drive, across from the Fairgrounds; the same site as that first drive-in. With sons Cal, Robbie and Gary Seawell running the second generation establishment, Seawell’s continues to focus towards delivering fresh, delicious food in a family-run environment.
